Interested in Becoming a Kainos Mentor?

We are now looking for Summer 2026 Mentors who are interested in building a meaningful friendship with a person who has intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Each year, Kainos pairs clients with volunteer mentors from the community. Throughout the summer, mentors and mentees spend time together at fun, social events organized by Kainos, giving them the opportunity to connect, build friendships, and create lasting memories. For those who are interested, mentors can also spend additional one-on-one time with their mentee.

We host approximately two events per month, making this a manageable, low-commitment opportunity. The summer wraps up with our Gala celebration, a truly special and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

Many of our mentors and mentees form friendships that continue long after the program ends. We would love for you to be part of this life-changing experience!
