Interested in Becoming a Kainos Mentor?

We are now looking for volunteers for Summer 2024 who want to get to know a person with an intellectual or developmental disability. Each year, Kainos clients are paired with volunteer mentors from the community. Over the course of the summer, the mentor and mentee spend time together at social events organized by Kaines and they get to know each other and become friends. If desired, mentors can spend time with their mentee one on one as well. We plan two events a month between July and October aiming to make this a low commitment with a celebration at the end with our Gala, a highly rewarding experience! Many mentors end up becoming lifelong friends with their mentees.
