This March, our Kainos Community Connections and Residential TDS programs headed to the Bay for an unforgettable field trip to the Marine Science Institute. It was a day dedicated to uncovering the wonders of the San Francisco Bay through hands-on exploration.

Our clients dove right into the action, getting up close and personal with local marine life. From petting leopard sharks and flounder to observing tiny shrimp, the sensory experience was second to none. We also stepped into the role of scientists by collecting water samples to examine microscopic plankton and sifting through Bay mud to find live invertebrates. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about the delicate balance of our local ecosystem while having an absolute blast together!
